I am looking at doing an Engine Conversion with a Queensland Company and are looking for a XT (Preferably) so the company can see what they are dealing with.

Is there any one who will be traveling between Brisbane and the Gold Coast and could drop in to Bullet Cars Australia, Unit 5 / 2 Ant Road Yatala Queensland, for a Nick Drennan to have a look over there OKA

I can supply a contact phone number for Nick if anyone can help

Many Thanks

G'day David we might be heading that way in a couple of weeks Not sure which way we're going yet.
Either call in on daughter at Dunoon ( nsw) or Tentafield via Warwick depends on weather I'd like to speend a few days in Torrington park on way to Lakes Entrance But ours is an LT if that would help

The cost, Will let you know over the next few months but the Duramax, Gearbox, Wiring loom and ECU all New around $21K

Transfer Box,
Went for a modified Nissan GU / GQ Box with lower Low range. This box is good for 600 Plus HP. but the main reason was it has a Drivers Side Drop allowing us to connect to standard OKA Front Diff, also comes with a Handbrake and speedo sensor, already have an adaptor plate available off the shelf.

That will be one impressive beast David, where did you source the lower gears for the transfer box as we have one on 138 which we intended to change out with the Lomax unit cause we couldnt locate supplier for gears but we just received advice from JB conversions that they can not supply our orders for at least another 6 months as they have to place orders for 200 gear sets min with their suppliers and the patrol box is as good as choice as any with say a change to 3.1 ratio. Are you making any mods to the Dana 60/70 combo other than 35 spline molies etc. happy conversions to all, Doc and Lyn Davey

As for the Diffs was looking at Dana 80 Front and Rear both running the same track width. ARB Diff locks front and rear. Looking at what to do with the Brake package thinking of upgrading with multi piston calipers but not sure yet.

We are fitting Dynatrac 80's with the ARB air both ends and the upgrade front drive axle assemblies and heavy duty dual piston 14.5nch brake assemblies with hand brake etc the option list rattles ona bit but can e-mail complete specs, options and pricing supplied from Dynatrac ex USA. We are fitting new steel 16 inch x 9 inch rims tubeless rated at 4500 lb per rim with 325/85R16 xml's and 1100R16 xzl's, type used depends upon intended travel routes % sealed v track. We have 36 new rims due mid Feb and expect price around $450 each plus GST.We will have a few spare as this was the min order for a production run and if anyone should want any then we can add to the order, they are costing $325 USD plus shipping and import charges hence the estimate of approx $450 per rim. They are certified stamped etc. Alls good, cheers Doc and Lyn

Hi Peter, our OKA #200 is parked (has been for a couple of years now) in the yard at Yandina - about 2 hours north of Yatala if your mechanic can't find another solution. N
