Is there a trick to adding photos onto for sale item?
Do I go to attachments, add file, find the file and open it, it then appears in the attachment box. I click insert file it is added next to the text. I click submit, the computer vegetates for a few minutes and then comes up internal server error.
Am I doing something wrong?
Cheers
Peter

I've found that the website doesn't like .png files but accepts .jpg files.

Image uploads in png format should be allowed, I'll check it out.

If you have any other problems uploading or attaching documents, please let me know, they can probably be resolved.

I've had a look and .png file formats are allowed, but spaces other non alpha-numeric characters in the file name seem to be an occasional problem. They are normally removed automatically on upload but if the upload fails, remove them first or replace with a "-" or similar.

This is a png pic (Ducks1.png). "Ducks 1.png" with a space didn't always work.

Peter, that's the correct procedure but sometimes spaces or other non alpha-numeric characters in file names can cause problems. Try removing or replacing them before uploading. jpg, jpeg, gif and png formats are acceptable for image attachments.

Also keep the image file size as small as reasonable, and below 3mb, they'll upload quicker and be resized to fit anyway. (File attachments, eg non-images such as pdf's, can be larger).

Cando, I don't have either of these devices to try, (did you mean iPad?)

Can anyone else throw some light on this problem?

Thank you.

I have had no trouble putting photos from my iPad but sometimes the photo is inverted, I think you must take the photo with the iPad the right up, I did have an iPad 3 but I dropped it now have the latest one.
I will take a photo now and see what happens.
First pic taken then attached,
Second pic from existing pics

Ok that was simple, I forgot to resize the pics, not sure how big they are.
I will take a photo with the iPad upside down .

No wonder the cat has gone, he fell off, haha.
Ok then it appear that the iPad must be the right way up, my I pad 3 with a protective cover on must have inverted the ipad 3, were the cover on my iPad cellular and wireless has the iPad the correct upright position.

peter,
on the roof is the AC / heater. Redot unit.
works realy well althoug not used the heater much. as you can see i needed to make a new flatter roof for mounting.
