Thanks Peter. tried that one twice without any success.
Perhaps both went astray.

Started the process of getting parts together over a month ago and so far have got exactly nowhere despite lots of emails.

Trouble is, I'm not interested in spending lots of money on international phone calls so it is email or nothing.

Guess I'll get all the generic parts locally (they replied with prices the next day) and just get OKA specific stuff direct from OKA.

Currently near Los Angeles and flying back home on thursday.

Was looking at a complete list of spares as per yours and David's suggestion. Had assumed I would have it all sorted out and delivered ready and waiting for when I got back but not to be.

Most of it I can get from local bearing and truck shops - possibly cheaper anyway - so it is just the OKA specific stuff such as coolant hoses and spring hanger pins I will have trouble with.
Also things like universal joint clamps and such can obviously be sourced anywhere that driveline components are sold - just a matter of convenience to get them from an OKA dealer.

If you contact David he will sell you one of my fancy 20mm spring hanger kits and bushes (at an inflated price).:D
If you just want a spare incase sometingg breaks, they are simply a 16mm grade 8.8 bolt (with a grease hole that you can do without until later).

I thought the bigger bolt kit was only for overloaded OKAs. One of those sequential upgrades that starts with the first thing to break and continues indefinitely until the whole rig is so strong that the only thing that breaks is the bank balance.:lol:

Does your kit need new side plates or hole drilling to fit the upgraded bolts???

Yes, hangers need drilling from 16 to 20mm and new hex plates need welding on.
Broken pins are certainly more likely with heavier vehicles, but seem not an uncommon occurrence. Bugga of a job on the side of the road/track.:(
