It looks very pretty in yellow,do you know the pump settings as these are for a JBC earthmoving application for continuos reving and the torque curves are set differently than a highway used vehicle.

wastegated turbo and everything, although they may be similar to the engine in the Massey 3060, 3075, and 3090 which have a wastegated turbo but are limited in revs... (it's unusual for tractors to rev much past 2500rpm). Just a thought...
Also, how long have they been sitting there...?
Is there 29 other people keen?

STB,will the yellow paint stop oil leaks(only joking) don't thing that is any advantage buying these engines,by the time you add shipping, gst, duties, quarantine costs, etc you may as well overhaul the original engine and get another 3/500,000 km.Perkins is a good engine,maybe...just maybe it was placed for the wrong application or it was the only engine available for the price range,i think if you are to spend the $$$ you may as well have a real upgrade,as per the bell housing the set up look very different,i'm not sure of the SAE app for the earlier models, the NT is definetely a SAE 3,I will measure the old housing and let you know
Cheers,joe

I thought the old Perkins where SAE#3.
Yer I dont think there is any point in getting these engines, but it means we have another options for parts for Perkins, in particular turbo with waste gate etc.
CAT would have the same engines for sale here, but they probaly cost 20k here.
There is also a electronic version as well.
