Some have been converted to 4wd since then.
It would want to be cheap if its two drive, lot of work to make them 4wd. Then again if your happy for 2wd, then that would be cheaper option.

an easy fix if all you need is a NP205, even a front diff isn't that hard!

Define hard, will cost money doesn't matter how you cut it.
You need at the very least a transfer case, adapter from gearbox to transfer, front and rear drive shafts, shifter and shifter cable or something, handbrake changed. Then front diff etc etc.
So your looking for a fair bit of coin just for parts.
So not sure if you would call it not that hard????
If you had all the parts then yep easy as. If you have to chase the parts etc. Then it would be harder.
Also depends if you can do all the work yourself. If you cant, bit of cost there.
If money is no object, then its easy as. Just drive to Al at OKA parts, tell him to call you when its 4wd.
Like anything its all relevant to what the person can and cant do, if they have access to parts etc.....

Thanks Brett for your insight.
No denying OKA`s will cost money.
But if there is a 2wd OKA for sale at say 15 grand and a 4wd OKA for sale at the same price, what would you do.
I am merely informing people its not a relatively easy job, there is a fair few parts involved etc.
Relative to what??? Your experience, mine etc etc?
All has to be taken in context. What is a relative job for me, might be hard for you and vice versa.
Not everyone knows about OKA`s, few have got burnt buying them with out being well informed first.
If we as OKA owners can provide as much information as possible, then the person themselves can decide if its a relatively easy job or not, given their own capabilities, finances etc etc.

Cheap enough to get a project, more money to spend on it with the rebuild.
Good luck.
