Yep. Non load sharing tandem steer was how I first learnt about it. My old MAN 8x4 is only legal for 13.5t. The way it was explained to me was it didn't matter if it was front or rear of the prime mover. Non load sharing meant they docked about 20% off each axle affected to compensate.
Building a few trailers at present and that's what got me thinking when I saw your suspension design. The same ADR rule applies because you can't maintain the load evenly across all axles in the group.
I'm not trying to be negative, just noticed it because I have read the ADR requirements a few times in the last few months.
I've just had a read through some of the VSB's for Heavy Vehicle Modification and it looks like it could be fun, even more if you get a difficult inspector.
Cool project.I will follow with interest
Cheers, Tony

load share involves rocker arms/link arms/air bags/ lots of headaches in the bush.
The suspension as it is with dummy diff has a lot of travel like all good OKA springs.
it climbs dam banks, roded catchments, power poles & rock piles cab chassi.
The OKA design was simple & basic parts. Every thing on this build is standard OKA.
I have had to manufacture parts for the drive to fit the basic OKA drive system.
share the load, not increase it!!
Keep It Simple
Cheers Brett

I reckon it's a great idea and look forward to having a look at it, I was just playing devils advocate. It's all about paperwork and who's covering who's arse these days unfortunately.

I will change it & rebuild for the next one.
A framing it around doesn't do the front end any good.
we use old Hilux's with Armstrong steering & it stough's them.

I did wonder if it was play in the steering box or in the steering linkage/kingpins.
