I'm guessing that people would be there from the weekend before from say the 1st and stay as long as they like that week.
We're looking to arrive at Corowa on the 9th so that week would work ok with us.

As a couple of people have said that they could not make that week but a week later would be better.
I suggest we move it from the 4th to the 18th March if that is ok with these who have already agreed with the first date.

More the merrier.
.
Back to you all.

Cheers
Peter.

The 18th would suit us very well, and allows Peter to get to Corowa as planned.

Yup fine with me, can easily go home from Corowa via Lake Cargelligo.
Peter Cowell is going to Corowa too plus he has to work to keep the rest of us in the manner to which we have become accustomed ;-)))

Due to the lack of feed back on changing the date of the gathering it will remain Wednesday 4 / 3 / 20. Sorry for those you can't make it.

I have learnt a couple of things from this.
When you choose a date stick to it ( you can't please everyone) I think it just might confuse things
Also just sit back like the majority, do nothing, and let some else do it.

The first to get there, check out the 2 free camp ares and choose which one you think would be best.

looking forward to see you there.

Cheers Peter

Not really sure what you mean by lack of feedback - those affected by the date change have responded, those who are happy either way have not.
I don't think the majority are 'just sitting back doing nothing' - they are just not hassling, going with the flow and not making un-necessary waves.

Good for you Harry, yes, lets lock it in for the weekend of the 21st, the mid-week date would always be difficult for some.

As to tall tales and cold ones... they are not just allowed, they are mandatory!

Cheers,
Paul and Michaela

Yes the 20, 21st and 22nd is fine with us as we'll be down at Corowa the week before.
I think the reason Peter made it a mid week date was so that those that invariable go for longer do so and those that come on the weekend can also be accomodated especially as it will be a couple of days drive just to get there for most.

Sounds good to us Harry though Kaye will have her skates on. Pakenham show, Bunyip show and Oka meet all at the same time :( There's a limit to the amount of fruit cakes she can make at once. :)

Deano & Kaye :)
Last Edit: 28 Jan 2020 16:08 by Dean and Kaye Howells. Reason: can't forget the fruit cakes

Thanks Harry that sounds good to us

The reason I have chosen a Wednesday, I thought it might be better for the people who have longer distance to travel & we would more than likely to have the whole place to ourselves

Frogs Hollow (33:18:18S 146:22:58E) would most probably be the better spot as there is more shade.
At Xmas there were quite a lot of campers there but I think in March out of school holidays it will be okay.
We had camped at Deadman's Point (33:16:46S 146:23:43E approx 4 k's north of town).
The shade is very limited but we were the only ones there so no problem a very nice spot also.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Cheers
Peter and Carla
