Just checked on Kerry and Eric at Wompinni.
The river has come up 4m, but no problems.
The Cal Lal Road has been cut which adds 30 minutes if coming in from the east, but the road to Renmark is OK.
Cheers,
Peter

I hear ya, Paul. Sadly, FB seems to be the only way I can communicate with my screen obsessed family, so I joined. It's insidious.
The post is correct. I rang Eric at Wompinini yesterday. They DO want bookings if poss.

Regret that 059 will not be attending - we have a family health problem that is keeping us grounded. I hope someone will post pictures and details here, for the benefit of those of us who don't have facebook accounts, and are thus not allowed to look at the secret society posts.

Four Oka's here so far, weather has been warm but starting to cool off towards the end of the week, 14 overnight heading for a 30 degree day with a bit of cloud.
For those that are considering staying overnight at Lake Victoria, with all the flooding there are a lot of dead fish and it's a bit ripe. Harry came on here instead. The lake outake where the road crosses is solid with fish and the birds hunting them.
There was a water truck dampening down the road east of Victoria river yesterday. road is ok with occasional dust holes and soft patches. The road out to Renmark is ok too.
Forgot to add that there is a possibility of rain if coming down from the north or easterly direction so check road conditions.
We had showers coming across from Balranald yesterday and looking at the radar it's still possible today. Even had a sprinkle here yesterday afternoon.

Sixteen or seventeen now, we've even had a recovery, a Perkins powered Oka had to tow the F350 when it bogged down launching the boat.
