Has anyone investigated a Donaldson PowerCore?

It does say in the blurb that it is only suitable for light dusty environments so wouldn't be much good on an Oka used anywhere off the bitumen.

OKA 374 LT Van, converted to camper/motorhome,
400ah Lithiums, 680w solar, diesel cooking heating and HWS,
Cummins 6BT, Allison 6 speed auto, Nissan transfer.

Donaldson's answer for heavy dust off road environments is their PowerCore PSD

I had a good look at these when I did my Turbo upgrade. (For memory Frank did also) The Donaldson Techo reported this as their latest technology which they recommend in preference to their older Radial Seal and Cycloflow Air Cleaners (ie those like the old OKA air cleaner, the ACCO and the Optiair) I think Fleetguard may also now supply a similar style filter to the PowerCore.

Great design, but problem was, it would have required a lot of surgery to get it to fit the OKA, if at all.

Rick Whitworth: OKA XT 149.

I also saw that but the factory unit seems like it may catch dust, but I am uncertain if much air is flowing??

Hopefully Mort does another run of the Chinese units at some point.
