One of the issues of changing out the Rockwell T/C on an LT to take an NP205 is the lack of a handbrake and speedo. The speedo is the easy bit because there are GPS speedos that slot straight into the Oka dash, the problematic bit is the handbrake and the Oka one is scarce and expensive.
You would probably want to check out the legalities of this before proceeding, but I have found a US company that manufactures a disc parking brake kit for the NP205 here for US $300.

The disc bolts onto the rear of the uni joint yoke. They don't say what series joint it is designed to fit.
I would think that even the brackets and caliper alone would save enough grief to be worth the dollars alone for anyone contemplating this. The disc can always be machined up locally.

"there are GPS speedos that slot straight into the Oka dash,"

Is this legal? Certainly wouldn't work in tunnels or heavy forest cover, or even in canyon city streets

Don't know if it's legal or not, but a magnetic pickup type speedo could also be used.

Looks like it bolts to the "backside" of the output yoke which isn't possible with our output yoke however it wouldn't be hard to adapt either way and is probably worth it for just the caliper setup.

As for the speedo, if you look around there's so many options it's rediculous! I've been going off what gear i'm in at what revs for ages but with new diameter tyres the speed of conversion in my head might be a bit slow so am looking at options again. I even looked at running a bicycle speedo (ex-cyclist) if the wire was going to be long enough... They can be as little as $5.00! Not all that keen on GPS' at the best of times let alone as a speedo. Paul Knott has a doohicky for the NP205 TC to run the LT speedo, there's some opportunities there for someone clever!

Cheers,
Alister

A word of warning!!!,most of these conversions are for off road use only,I had a couple of different settings on trail and could not get a disc to hold the weight of the OKA on an incline,I just don't think a single caliper have enough holding power,I scrape two different set ups as neither work in a safe manner.
Cheers,Joe
