Has anyone got pictures of a XT with LT dash?

I am trying to fit one up, but it doesnt sit right. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

I cant use the passenger side glove box with out cutting it up, also there is a gap in the middle.

may be able to get you some on the weekend

It wont fit perfect. the main issue will be the windscreen vents, the joint line pushes up the hinge. a real bugger of a job to get right. take your time on this one and get it right

Need to cut the glove box and narrow it to suit.

There is a gap in the middle.
Yes there is, there is a bet piece of metal on the Drivers side that stop 1/2 the way across. you will need to replace it with a longer one piese or extent this piece to fix the issue

Hi David,

Thanks for the reply.

I am not sure what you mean by joint line??

I am blocking off the middle vents. So I am going to make a piece of metal that will cover both the vent holes and also be a little higher to cover the gaps.

You can see the centre vent holes blocked in the pictures. I actually cut out the middle section of the vents, then placed metal inside, this way the A/C is not filling up the void. Allowing the air to flow into the vents more.

The front windscreen air vents are a two piece unit. Where they meet in the middle you will often find one sits higher than the other and this causes issues when you hinge the new LT dash pod from it

This is the centre bit of an LT dash. The module below (fibreglass?) is fairly different to an XT's.

Still playing around with the dash. Got most of it sorted and will post pics up next week. Looks at little bit average underneath, but ok on top. I had to add the fuse panel etc.
