Paul and Sue Crompton created the topic: XT & LT Oka - Running Gear Differences
Hi folks, I was wondering if anyone can tell me what are the differences in the running gear between the 2 models. I would expect the gearbox, transfer case and tail shafts would be different. The reason I ask this is because I have an LT and I only have a parts manual for an XT. So I am hoping if people know the differences on the running gear ie bearings etc, they could let me know so I could still use the XT parts manual with confidence. Thanks Paul.

Both share the engine and gearbox with minor differences.
Both have the same axles front and rear again with minor differences.
Cooling system the XT radiator is different to LT other wise pretty much the same
Fuels system pretty much the same.
Electrical engine side of things similar but body wiring different setup.
Transfer case in XT is different, XT has married NP205, LT has divorced Rockwell
Tailshafts different on both lengthwise with LT having a jackshaft between gearbox and transfer.

Unless you have a hybrid like us, the clutch is still cable while the radiator is LT ..
