Like to buy another OKA, prefer LT with dualcab, would like chassis and cabins in reasonable good condition, mechanical problems or faults are welcome (hmmmm, price will the lower then!)
This will be a long term project, not in a hurry to start now, but if the right combination presents itself, I will buy.

BTW any OKA bus chairs for sale anywhere? Preferably in WA?

The ODO never really worked ,so SES did the servicing by the GPS logs which amounted to 105K Km a really nice bus, that was in the service book at sale time

Thanks Joe & OkaPete, that #305 is certainly a good looking unit!. Bummer, I was one day too late!
My plan was to put my interest out here and once every 2 months or so bump that to the top.
As I said, am not in a hurry, and right now immobilised after a motorbike accident 2 weeks ago. I guess my motorbike days are over now, don't want to try my luck a second time like that.

BTW, the 'right combination' is: price, condition, location
Last Edit: 15 Apr 2015 09:16 by Hank Onthewater. Reason: add 'combination'

Its funny but quite a few Oka's on the west coast get bought by people in the eastern states and the same the other way, lots end up being bought over east and taken back to WA.

OKA 374 LT Van, converted to camper/motorhome,
400ah Lithiums, 1100w solar, diesel cooking heating and HWS,
Cummins 6BT, Allison 6 speed auto, Nissan transfer.

"BUMP"
As I said in an earlier post I would bump the "OKA wanted" thread to the top in 2 months time. That was early April.
Yes, still looking for something suitable, cab-chassis is OK too, as the plan is to built camper unit from scratch.

Hehehe, when I said that I was looking for a dualcab, someone pointed me to a close to perfect setup (at least from a distance).... except the price tag is little a high for me.
Here is a plug for that one for sale anyway (no, don't know the guy, never communicated with him, no ties whatsoever)

Agree.

Pro`s and Con`s I guess.

350 is LT
200 is XT

200 is Multicab and what Hank is after I think. Both need work. But if you are after a Multi cab, I think its good value. Although I haven't seen it.

Certainly a buyers market at the moment.

200 looks like its had a rewire or something. There are what to appear Circuit Breakers near the drivers side. Above the brake pedal.

Interesting vehicle for sure and would be tempting if you are in the market for an OKA.
