Hi oka mob
I m getting through another love bath and upgrade of 316
Chasing a new sun visor don't think I want to put the weight back on over the window again
Has anyone done an aluminium one that has lasted without to many stress fractures over time?

See these posts: wanted-sun-visor and wanted-to-buy-sun-visor .

Kav has some drawings for one.

My ali visor hasn't cracked but the centre fixing brackets have. A strong centre fixing (eg a support bar to a roof rack) is recommended to stabilise whipping.

Didn't realize how naked and different the OKA looks without the sun visor :-O

Cheers Brian

PS. I was going to say ugly, but that is in the eyes of the beholder. ;-)

Thanks dandjcr I ll have a look at the posts
Did you copy the original design?
Thanks outyonda is it like the nt?

The worb. Yes I agree very naked without my top racks and cage and visor
The new paint also means I have no oka stickers either so she s very plain

Can't wait to get some time to redress her soon and some new headlights and UHF Aerials

Also spraying the bullbar black has changed the look from the gal I debated a long time to do this, finally deciding to copy the troopy and go black.

More or less, I fabricated it using 3mm aluminium and had to guess the angles for the blade settings from photos.

The brackets were pop-rivetted together, (see previous posts ).

Looks a bit rough but it's been in use since 2004.
