112 is well on its way to being finished. Chassis, diffs, motor, tanks, the lot is back together, all new bushes, bearings etc through out including the diffs.

Cab - currently working on the cab change over from the XT to the LT. this has turned out to be quite an ordeal. Everything needs to be refab'd to fit. Everything.

AC- Redot roof type. This requires the unit to be flat when installed. at this stage im going to rase the roof to equal the rear height, this way the AC will lay flat. lots of work but will increase the front headroom which we can use for storage or radios etc.

Electrical - was going to re-use some of the wiring harness to save a bit of time and money. I pulled it apart today and found many many crimp joins within the harness. Wires from the first fuses were crimped about 100mm inside the harness. The joins are from the factory. I'm suprised they don't burn out at the hot spots? or do they... removed the full harness and threw it away to start new.

All for now

Wiring is one of the things I want to go through and totally redo as well. I'll be interested to hear how you get on with it.

No wiring 'issues' as such. When we were coming across the Barkley the front aircon fan died. Whilst searching through the wiring to find the problem it struck me that the wiring needed an upgrade. Too many unnecessary joins, too many wires, too many possible fire hazards. I'm a bit of a stickler for wiring and so it is high on my list of upgrades.

Also no cost yet because all our money is going into the nephews surgery at the moment. Need to sell more gear.

Well we cut the cab roof off today and made a flat one. Lifted front by 40 and dropped the rear by 60mm. looks OK. I was wanting to remove the existing 2 piece roof to avoid any probs later, so why not go the hole hog.

I'd put a pic here but I cant work out how?? Look in my pic file and you'll see the changes so far.
