Hi All,
266 is about to get a paint job, going for military olive drab at this stage.
Obviously the decals/stickers have to come off and I'll be looking for replacements. I've run all sorts of searches on the forum here, but I am coming up blank.
Can anybody point me to a post about this, or advise where I can obtain them.
Pete

Peter , as we also had a paint job done on ours, we required stickers to.so we took a sample to our local sign writer and he was able to make new ones the same as originals cheers peter

PeteF, this here is the original thread. There is a lot of difference in stickers of course; I have had several vehicles signwritten over time (including the OKA back in the early days), which they use stickers for, not paint. The signwriter knew what he was doing and ordered the right stuff all along the way, but for one vehicle the sticker producer cut a corner - and three years later that vehicle looked like it had been in a nuclear holocaust, just from sitting out in the sun.

Also the red in the OKA logo is a colour very susceptible to fading, which is why the factory weren't ever going to be able to use a cheap variety.

I put new OKA stickers, supplied by OKA on OKA196 in 2005.
The red is virtually gone now.
