I'm thinking of putting grease extension tubing from the suspension bushes. My query is have others used 1/8" BSP thread fittings or a smaller size. 1/8 seems like an awfully big hole into the shackle pin.

Subject has been discussed previously and one of the questions raised is "why would you bother".

After lunch is the best time for a grease up,you can combine a snooze and a grease up on the creeper under the OKA!!!!!

I can understand the sheer convenience of having all the grease points plumbed but there aren't really that many nipples to grease on an Oka.
Our Humvee has 28 to do which is why I just stick it up on the hoist when the Oka isn't on it! Being able to just walk around and work on things at eye level etc is great.
When away on a trip though it would be good to be able to just push a button, save all that sliding around in the dirt.

While under the OKA on your afternoon Siesta Greasing you should also be looking for loose bolts, brackets and anything that looks out of place. On many trips I have avoided disaster by this preventative maintenance, it only take one loose bolt to ruin a trip.
