I'm in the process of changing the bushes and I'm wondering what is the difference between the chassis orkot bush and the leaf spring eye orkot bush. Oka gives different part numbers. It's on an LT.
Cheers
Peter

Peter, I don't know if you've removed the Orkot bushes yet but I found them extremely difficult to remove, especially from the chassis at the front.
Oka recommend a special tool T-1095 to drive Orkot bushes into the chassis but I made up a solid steel bar just smaller than the bush outside diameter.
I heated the chassis around the bush with a gas torch and put ice cubes inside the bush to try and create some differential expansion/contraction. They eventually came out after being shocked with a sledge hammer. A more sophisticated press tool would be kinder.

Thanks for the replies.
I've only done one hanger so far, and the chassis bush was ok, but I replaced the eye bush. The eye bush was 1 inch ID and 1 1/4 inch OD. The chassis bush seems to be the same. So why does Oka give different part numbers.? Maybe the length, as I haven't measured them.
