I don't actually own an oka but have the same perkins turbo diesel in my landrover 110 county - i was wondering if it's possible to fit a mechanical brake vacuum pump to this motor. Where does the brake vacuum come from on the OKA? Thanks, Matt

Oka's use a hydroboost unit off the power steering/hydraulic circuit to provide brake assistance, no vacuum required.
Thoams make small 12v vac pumps just like the blue tongue, big red range of air compressors.
Alternatively find a wrecker that wrecks Volvo's and all the 80-mid 90 turbo models have a 12v vac pump sitting on the LHS inner guard, the vac tank is behind the front bumper if you want that too. The volvo pumps last for years and are a popular fitment to diesel landys.
