Uploading avatar photo

I am trying to up load a new photo on an IPad the site tells me the it has been saved but nothing?

Hi Landseer,
I never had an avatar so today I decided to install one had the same issues and it didnt matter what I did until I reduced the size down to about 2 MB which will be roughly 250 x 250 pixels.
Try that.
