Pins are available off the shelf, they are NOT 25 mm they are 1 inch (25.4 mm) and they will not fit if you drill a 25 mm hole

They were never any other brand other than OKA the pins are turned out of 4140 on a local CNC engineering shop no far from OKA parts, spring bushes are a common bi metal 1" internal diameter, the quality is with the pins material selection and it's OKAs own

Thanks Brett and Joe, I wasn't sure. I was told they are same Isuzu.

When I did the upgrade several years ago, I use the NT pins.

They both wear Brett. The pins not as much but ive replaced most of mine and i know Tom did as well. Tom also had the hangers replaced as the holes elongated.

The pins are NT. I haven't had it apart yet to check how bad the bushes are but I have pulled some of the pins and some are well and truely stuffed. At the last RTA check they said that they would need attention before the next 6 monthly check. They have been in about 180000km's
I'm going to machine my own out of 4140, I'll machine a grease groove in them and get them induction hardened and see if they last longer when they're hard and better lubricated. The bushes are easily sources locally, i'll stick with the bronze bushes.

There are some special drill bits that work on hardened steel. And they come in the size required for Zerk fittings.
YG dream drill.

The machinist used the ones without the cooling holes, and they reported to have went through like a hot knife through butter.
1/8" hole about 35-mm deep.

Drilling hard material is ok these days. The pins were induction hardened today the hardness is only about 3mm deep on the O.D so they are still ok to drill with HSS. I finished all the machining before they were hardened anyway.
