Where is the reverse light switch for a LT?
Looked all over the Spicer gearbox and can only see what I think is the speed sensor....
Photo of the location would be appreciated

The speed sensor on an xt is next to the handbrake drum and picks up from the 4 tabs welded to the drum. Not sure about LT speed sensor. If it's the same then the sensor you have found will be it.

Where is the reverse light switch for a LT?
Found the speed senor on the Rockwell transfer box (should have said that first)
Read about a reversing switch mentioned a Land Rover part in other posts but no mention of the location.
Photo of the location would be appreciated

No switch on the gearbox but a switch on the dash which also turned on the external flood lights

It's been about 12 years since ours had a manual box but from memory there might have been a microswitch like someone was asking about in an earlier post inside the box where the stick came out to operate when in the reverse position?

Usually a reversing switch is obvious but after spending time looking for anything with a wire attached dug into the wiring loom. This was fitted with a switch on the dash that wasn't connected to the gearshift in anyway.
I'm going to fit a reverse switch to the gearbox instead of the current blanking bolt.
If that doesn't work I will fit a microswitch
Thank you for your reply

Hey mate, I've been playing with mine for ages, it's located on the driver's side of the gear box up near the top. I've just ordered unit number 4 to see if I can the darn thing working
