Can anyone tell me where the main power supply wire for the air compressor originates. My compressor is located behind the dust cover on pass. side of vehicle. I must have a broken wire somewhere in the circuit. I have power on the switching side, but not the supply side ? all fuses seem okay, has anyone else had issues with this? we have kids the a manual step mod. is not an option just yet.

My compressor had a glass type fuse in the line. The internal connections were dodgy so I took removed the fuse assembly entirely and used a standard two prong fuse instead. Fixed.

thanks for that. that was my first port of call. i did exactly the same repair. also re soldered any connection i could get to.
does the pressure control switch on yours have 3 wires coming in? 1X red (thick) 1X black (thick) & 1X red (thin/fine), the problem i'm having is with the thick red one. i'm trying to trace that back, but it disappears into the loom under the rear fuse panel (i think). any ideas??
