G'day all
We bought this last year but were unsure what we were going to do with it! (No. 66) long story short we have kept the Oka and unloaded the van!!
Initially weary of having an older truck, we have gradually come around! Due to a few trips we have already done and this great site full of good info we have trouble considering anything else!
Thanks also to Lobo who got in touch just after we got it. We have kept the canopy and will modify to our needs. I am a long way off being a mechanic but with all the experience out there we feel confident going forward!
Regards
Marty

Welcome Aboard Marty.
You either love or hate OKA`s. A lot of people buy one 12 months later it gets sold.
Just need to remember OKA`s are not a light vehicle like a Toyota. So maintenance, servicing etc etc is a bit more regular.
Parts are cheap if you know where to look etc.
Plenty of info on here.
Don't get dishearten if things break etc etc. Nothing is really terminal on OKA.........
Just about every OKA sold needs work. Wether it be tyres, upgrades or tinkering.
Don't hesitate to contact me or post messages on the forum. Someone will have answer...
Finally OKA`s are like any other vehicle, they where built to be used. Not sitting in shed. They tend to deteriorate quickly and getting them back up to scratch can take a bit.
