Hi there, I’m interested in buying an Oka within the next couple of years, we are a family of 6, so need something bigger than a 4wd wagon. I’m Looking to possibly tow a camper trailer, but also want to have the ability to leave the trailer behind and camp with tents when towing a trailer isn’t practical.
Thinking a dual cab or multi cab with a canopy setup but even a bus could work to start off, with the possibility of converting it to dual cab or multi cab, is there much involved in such a conversion? I’m a sheetmetal tradesman so panel/frame repairs and modifications etc. shouldn’t be a problem.
I’m not in a position to buy anything just yet but I’m here to learn what I can in the meantime.

Regards,
Daniel.

Welcome aboard Daniel.
Maybe you should come to the OKA gathering at Silverton. At the last gathering there were over 50 OKAs present and every one was different.
Cheers,
Peter

Daniel you would be very welcome, it's a huge venue and you will see many Oka's and no two will be the same.
I wish there had been a similar gathering when we were looking, would have made a lot of things easier down the track.
Peter, no we aren't all "Peter"
